Brigitta Lloyd

Brigitta Lloyd, has over 30 years of experience in the field of finance and accounting. She started her career working as a para-professional after taking college courses at several CPA firms in the Portland area. For over 8 years she supported the preparation of financial statements, payroll, and various tax returns. As time and money allowed she ultimately completed her education gaining a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Warner Pacific University. Since that time, she has worked in the private sector for the last 20 years.

Brigitta is Vanport’s Controller. Her role requires her to work closely with Dan and Dave as they guide the business forward, examples of this being providing weekly financial reports indicating the company’s cash position presently and in the near future. With this information, Brigitta has the foresight to provide necessary feedback to the management team for financial related decisions. Brigitta also reviews the transactions of the company and ensures all accounting is reconciled. Other duties she performs would include processing AP, year-end reporting/filings, reviewing payroll, monthly financial statements, assisting with benefits, and human resources. Brigitta is very proud of the work that Vanport accomplishes and feels at home within an organization where integrity is paramount.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, friends, and two dogs. Brigitta spends a fair bit of her off time at the Oregon Coast, where she does renovation projects to her second home. She is a fan of being outside, so if the weather is nice she enjoys activities like gardening, hiking, or visiting the beach. Time permitting, she also tries to keep a pulse on what the stock market is doing to be a step ahead with investment opportunities.
