Melissa Scalf
Melissa has a broad skillset gained from working at small businesses. She is a problem solver and works to alleviate pinch points for customers and coworkers. Her Business Operations responsibilities include project support and daily operations such as procurement, mobilization, AP, accounting, and payroll.
Melissa has over 15 years of experience in marine services, federal contracting, proposal writing, and project support/expediting. She has business development experience including rebranding, company launches, and marketing.
Melissa has a broad skillset gained from working at small businesses. She is a problem solver and works to alleviate pinch points for customers and coworkers. Her Business Operations responsibilities include project support and daily operations such as procurement, mobilization, AP, accounting, and payroll. For Human Resources, Melissa handles employee relations and recruiting. Melissa also assists sales and marketing with proposal responses, business development, special events and tasks outside of normal production.
Melissa’s conceptual thinking and creative solutions stems were developed by earning a BA in Apparel Design. She grew up in Corvallis and still has family in the Willamette Valley. She often meets up with friends to catch up over a good meal at favorite spots around the city. Melissa is also looking to take trips to see friends in California and Texas, as well as taking trips to Mexico City, Rome and Istanbul.
